Variance in smell

I’ve bought many of the Robin room sprays from Essence80 over time and absolutely loved them. The scent, which is a take on Halfeti, is beautiful, deep, warm and really long lasting. It has become a favourite in our home.

Because of how much I liked the sprays, I recently ordered the Robin branded diffuser and eau de parfum as well. I was hoping for the same scent experience, but they didn’t quite match what I had come to expect from the room sprays. I understand there can be slight differences, but these felt noticeably different and did not have the same depth or richness. I’d say my recent purchase smelt too citrusy.

That said, the packaging is always excellent, delivery is fast, and customer service has been great every time. I will definitely keep buying the room sprays, but thought it was worth mentioning the difference in scent across the range.

Very like the expensive perfume it is inspired by, at a fraction of the cost.
